Since moving to England, Casemiro has established himself as the cement between the walls of Manchester United’s slightly porous defence this season.

The team has had a 71.4% win rate in the 14 games they've played without him this season, which is not very prolific when compared to 90.6% they've enjoyed in the 34 games he's played.

Casemiro, Varane, and Martinez have been superb for United this season

Having had a hand in his strong defensive partnership with Varane, Martinez, and David De Gea as well as garnering 10 G/A in his 34 games, Casemiro looks the most proper anchor Manchester United have had since the post-SAF era.

And it looks like he would be missing a very important home game against Real Betis, who held La Liga champions, Real Madrid, to a draw in their last match.

The boys from Betis are a team Casemiro and Varane know too well from their time at Real Madrid, which is why Erik ten Haag would be grateful to have his experience and quality available for the Thursday clash.

Mirror Football reports that the medical staff of United stated that the Brazilian suffered an injury against Liverpool and will be assessed to determine his fitness and availability.

United faithful will hope that he wouldn't join their already glamorous list of injured midfielders as they can't find a replacement for him.

Do you think Casemiro will play the Betis game?
